Accommodation

A number of rooms has been reserved at the conference site, the ‘Kardinal-Schulte-Haus’, which was built in Bensberg during the years 1926-1929 to house the priest seminary of the Archbishopric of Cologne. In 1984 the Archbishop of Cologne decided to have the building restored for use as a Congress Centre for the Cologne Bishopric.

From its position on the first elevation of the midlands, the site offers a spectacular view over the Lower Rhine Embayment and the city of Cologne. Those attending the conference will be accommodated on-site and accommodation fees include full board accommodation during the entire conference May 20th-23rd. Accommodation is available in 44 single and 110 double rooms.

The ‘Kardinal-Schulte-Haus’ offers a park with 80.000 m2, two bars, sauna, skittle alley, and a terrace beer garden overlooking the Lower Rhine Embayment.
